BM-62 Ex-LIRR Baggage Car #7727 is currently used as our Tool Car at the site of our Riverhead backshops. The car had been used by the LIRR MOW Department for storage before being sent to the Railroad Museum of Long Island in the early 1990’s It houses two long work benches, multiple shelving units for storage of Engines #1556 and #399 parts, small electric appliances such as a bench mounted grinder and drill press and storage of our inventory of electric hand tools, hand tools and track working tools.
