Our Lionel representative has told us recently that he has yet to receive a decorated prototype of our White Castle TOFC model. In March, he was awaiting eighteen Lionel production prototypes that were behind schedule, our TOFC is one of them!
It will take approximately three months time from approving the prototype to delivery of the finished cars at our Riverhead Museum. At this time we do not expect to see this car before August or September 2013. Our committee is frustrated with the delay in commerce with Lionel’s Chinese partners but we are powerless to do anything.
We apologize for the delay in getting these cars to our members. We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to receiving this model. Sadly, we cannot give a delivery date at this time.
