OUR MUSEUM’S COLLECTIONS

With two locations, twenty rail cars and locomotives, exhibits of railroading artifacts, interactive features, train layouts and a real life LIRR locomotive turn table there is a lot to take in.

         THE RMLI          RESEARCH CENTER 

The Railroad Museum of Long Island holds archived collections of Long Island railroading images, film, video, paper, artifacts and ephemera.  Housed in the RMLI Library at Riverhead these articles are available for research upon requesting an appointment.
