. We encourage you to become a member of the Railroad Museum of Long Island. Your membership will help the Museum further its mission of preserving Long Island’s railroading history. Dues money is used for the restoration and maintenance of the Museum’s collections, advancing Museum outreach to our communities, and for meeting the general operating expenses of the Museum.
. The Railroad Museum of Long Island offers several membership classes. Voting privileges are awarded on the basis of membership class. The membership fee depends upon the class of membership. There are also corporate memberships available.
Membership classes are as follows:
• Regular membership with voting privileges – $60
• Senior membership (over 62) with voting privileges – $40
• Junior membership (under 18) with no voting privileges- $30
• Corporate membership with voting privileges – $200.
. Dues pay for one year of membership from January 1st to December 31st. Membership includes free admission throughout the year to the Museums, a 10% Member Discount at Museum Gift Shops, and a subscription to The Postboy, the Museum newsletter. Please keep your membership card handy when visiting the Museum to assure all your benefits are available.
