Open House is Cancelled for Saturday, December 14th Only

Sadly, it is already snowing on the East End!  The National Weather Service is hedging its bets on the duration and accumulation of snow today before the weather changes to all rain after 5 PM.  We may have 3 – 5 inches at Riverhead and as much as 6 – 8 inches of snow farther west on the Island.  Additionally, winds will increase throughout the day to gusts of 40 mph, adding to the blowing of any snow on the ground – before the rain.

I believe we should err on the side of caution and I am canceling the Holiday Open House at Riverhead RMLI for today only.  Tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 15 will be in the 40’s with sun after 12 noon.
