2019 Season Opener Saturday, April 6 at 10:00 AM

Thank you for clicking on our 2019 Season Opener link.  As President of the Museum I want to announce a change in admission for the new season.

As the cost of operating our facilities has gone up the Board of Trustees and I have taken a long look at ways to increase our revenue.  We took into account that it has been six years since an admission adjustment has been made at the Museums.  We want to keep our annual dues rates steady for our membership; more than half whom volunteer with dedication at Riverhead and Greenport to give you and your family a happy and enjoyable experience.

So it has, beginning Saturday, April 6, 2019, been decided to increase the cost of admission at the Railroad Museum of Long Island to $12.00 per adult and $6.00 per child between the ages of 5 and 12 years old.  Infants to 4 years old continue to be FREE! Your admission ticket continues to be good throughout the season for one visit at Riverhead and one visit at our Greenport Museum.

If you and your family are frequent visitors, consider becoming a Museum member.  Museum members holding a 2019 membership in the Museum are admitted for free throughout the season AND receive a 10% discount at the Museum Gift Shops.  2019 Membership applications are available at the Museums: $50.00 per year for an adult; $25.00 for Junior members 5 to 18 years old.

All the Museum volunteers and I thank you for your past visits and support.  We hope you will understand our need for this admission adjustment and plan to continue your support in 2019 with a visit or maybe an annual membership.
