A well known network television talk show based in New York City needed some “railroad” photographs for an upcoming show. Their scout discovered the Railroad Museum of Long Island and after a few e-mails and phone conversations a shooting date was set.
The photographer assigned to the job recognized the artistic potential of our collection of old railcars. He was especially taken with our historic Alcoa Aluminum #200, the very first bi-level commuter coach ever made and the grandmother of all bi-level coaches since 1932!
The crew and vast array of photography equipment used on a professional shoot, from the doorway of #200.
Today the RMLI had the pleasure of hosting noted New York City fashion and lifestyle photographer Mr. Pete Thompson and his talented crew in bi-level #200 for a day of outstanding photography.
